Mom and Dad had my party a little early so Grandma and Grandpa N would be able to attend. They are leaving soon for a warm vacation. It was 2 degrees F this morning. So cold.
The theme for this year's party was fairies and wizards. It was so fun to get dressed up in my special birthday dress and wear my wings. Auntie and Nana helped a lot with the preparations for which Mom was most grateful.
Some of our activities included balloon fighting, painting butterfly wings, hopping frogs, pinning the wings on the fairy (didn't Auntie JAZ do a great job on the Tinkerbell fairy?), the very popular fishing game (Mom crocheted all those prizes), and the happy birthday song after which we ate my special vegan chocolate cupcakes (one of my guests has food allergies - and yes, they are spectacular tasting - everyone raved).
The crocheted creations were a huge hit. Mom will post photos on the family blog. Each was tailored for each individual kid. There is a photo of my favorite baby "I" enjoying his baby duck and his brother's tiger.
