I really do love my sister and help Mom and Dad quite a lot with her. They often make comments about how patient I am with her.
Here are a few more photos of us together:
It was an impromptu Santa visit so nothing fancy and no special Christmas dresses but it was still wonderful. I have known what I was going to ask Santa to bring for quite some time - Elsa and Anna Royal Closet. I never wavered from my desire to have it.
The camera during our visit was having a hard time so Santa sang with us while we waited. It was wonderful. He's a very special guy. My note is also included:
I was originally going to be a witch (friendly variety) but then Daddy met up with a friend who gave him a bag full of hand me down costumes and I fell in love with this Mulan costume - complete with Dragon bag and everything. I just HAD to wear it. But I did carry my special broom around, too.
Mom says I'm her artist. My most favorite toys are actually my art supplies. I won my first drawing contest at age 3. You can see that I can turn just about anything into a work of art. Here are some examples:
This fall I started a new dance class. It is combo ballet and tap. I do it through city parks and recreation. The class is actually less expensive than my shoes for the class. So far I am enjoying it and especially enjoy that my friend B gets to always go with me. My little baby sis also watches from the window. I think someday she may want to take this same class. I have the same teacher that I had last year for my ballet I class. The Frozen bag for carrying my shoes was made by Mom but I selected the fabric at the store.
My first time on the "blue part". Level one gymnastics. I am rocking it. I am the only one in my class at the moment. I LOVE it! I am actually getting pretty strong, too.
Mom recently purchased some soft blocks so I could play blocks with Baby Sister. I like to build castles so she can crawl to them and knock them down. It has really helped her learn to crawl. She's been crawling about 1 week and is quite skilled. I like to think it was me who is to credit for that with all the castle building that's been going on here. I do often like for Mom to take photos of the various castles before BB tears then down. Here are some of those...
From my most recent dental visit. I had a clean exam. Brother went first so I played with my princesses while I waited. Oh, I am wearing my Elsa hair and a dress I pretend to be an Elsa play dress.
One of my favorite activities is to watch You Tube videos of cake baking and decorating. It's like art on a whole other level. Recently I asked Mom if we could make rainbow cupcakes. This is from our baking of rainbow cupcakes. No cake mixes - all 100% homemade. They were pretty good. In fact, we ate them before we could take a photograph of the final product.
I love my blanket aka "Blank". She has magical healing powers. Mom and Dad agree and say that because so much love and care has gone into Blank all these years than when someone gets hurt and I cover him/her with Blank he/she will instantly feel better. I sleep with her every night and she goes most places with me. Mom has repaired her many times and I do have a "back up Blank" for when she is in repair or being washed. Ms. Caitlin gave these to me before I was born and I just love them so much.
Catching things up so a bit behind on this...
In mid-May I had my very first ballet recital. I was wonderful. I danced to the movie music of "Brave" and wore my lime green tutu. I did just great and the best part was I had a great time. Mom included the video at the end (I am on the far right of the video). It shows my entire performance which is not long but as she says, "very charming". I will be signing up again in the fall but this time for tap and ballet. I hope to have my same teacher Ms. Savannah again.
The first photos are of me up on stage.
My hair that I was so proud of.
Daddy offering good luck snuggles.
This was how I felt about going on stage...
This is me with the flower Daddy gave me after my performance. Mom was so proud that I remembered to take my slipper off and put on my street shoes before walking outside. She says that's a sign of a true dancer who takes care of her shoes.
