Christmas 2015

I had a great white Christmas - played in the snow, enjoyed opening and helping my little sister open gifts, play with the requested item from Santa (Build a Bear Elsa), and made my new mermaids from my mermaid making kit. I may have also received a mermaid hair bow in my stocking, too.

It was a great time. Lots of magic.

First Gymnastics Meet

My first gymnastics meet aka "Snowflake Challenge".

I've been working on routines on all the events and was prepared. I had a huge cheering section which was pretty much all I wanted (Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, GnG N, Nan, Auntie J, Cousin Dede, Uncle S, Ms. K and her two girls, and Ms. B and her daughter). I had a whole section just for my fans. Ms. K took some amazing photos and dad did video. Here are some photos. I received three blue ribbons and white (for bars). On bars I just over did my dismount and went off the mat but I rocked everything else and smiled a lot.

Second Hair Cut...

I waiting a long time for this second hair cut. Mom says my hair was just too difficult to continue to care for. Dad has a friend who has a little girl who went through cancer. He showed me some of those photos of her losing her hair. After that, I understood what needed to be done.

My hair was so long I still have quite a bit of length. Plus, Ms. C, who cut my hair, did a good job of preserving length. The hair is being donated to Wigs for Kids - nonprofit organization which does not cost any money to the kids receiving the wigs nor to those donating the hair.

Missing Teeth...

My first missing teeth.

Like my older brother I had to have my two lower bottom teeth extracted because the grown up teeth were already coming in. My uncle is my dentist. He is amazing. Plus, I was pretty good, too. Didn't even need any gas just the "numbing juice".

The tooth fairy gave me $10 for these two teeth. Now I have a new smile. Here are some before and after photos. We went shopping for a special treat after my procedure. I chose chocolate birthday cake and ice cream. Lamby kept me company and Mom brought my special "blank" just in case. But I did fine.

Kindergarten Field Trip to Pumpkin Patch

I actually went on this field trip a couple years ago when T was in kindergarten. This time it was my turn to ride the bus with my friends. Mom and B's mom, Ms. K (aka Iron Woman) carpooled together in the Jetta so they were not on the bus with us.

Oh, notice my awesome field trip shirt.

We went on a tractor/hay ride, ran through a corn maze (Mommy and I were the first ones through - hint, hint: always choose the right path). We picked out pumpkins and petted some animals. It was wonderful being there with so many special people including my beloved kindergarten teacher Mrs. T. I don't have a photo with her but she took a photo of Mom and Me on the tractor to send to Daddy who was working in San Francisco that week.

Kindergarten...

Finally...finally...I am in kindergarten.

I have been ready to go since older brother T was in kindergarten. I used to go with Mom while she volunteered as art mom. Now, I'm the kindergartener in Mrs. T's class and Mom is my art parent in the class. It's pretty much the highlight of my day ever day I'm at school. Seeing Mrs. T is one of my favorite parts of my day.

I requested a special first day of school dress which Mom did make for me. I did pick out the fabric for it. She also did a special hair style for me that day at my request. Before my first day started I did some reading while we all arrived. Lil Sis was not too happy to be in the photo that Miss K took.

My best friend B is in class with me. She hangs with me Tues-Thurs before school. We are in the same learning group, too. We're both already reading and I'm looking forward to my first report card next week.
