Pioneer Pride Award

My award was for independence - making good choices even when no one is watching which is a lesson I learned long ago from gymnastics (working hard at the gym even when no one is watching). Mom and Dad say these are the awards they are most proud of. After a week of good report cards and Pride awards we went to Barnes and Noble to celebrate.

Gymnastics Meet Season 2016-2017

This was my first year of competitive gymnastics. I worked hard and improved my scores throughout the whole season. My goal the whole year was to win a first place medal. At the state meet in Moscow, Idaho I took first in vault and placed in nearly every event including the all around. I am so proud (and so is my family) that I worked so hard this year. I never complained about my four hour work outs 4-5 times per week. I also spent a significant amount of time raising money to pay for me fees too. (through my Sope Shoppe) One of my most special moments of the season was having my beloved first grade teacher come to the Queen of Hearts meet. I also won best vault and perfect attendance for my gym at our banquet. I am wearing my red dress which is another purchase (thanks to Auntie J) from SLC (I was laughing when my coach called me a T rex - that's a compliment but it's because of my strong run for vaulting).

Here are some of the photos and highlights:
