Fifth Birthday - Frozen Party...

 Photos from my party.

Activities included - freeze dancing to Frozen music, decorating snow flakes, playing with snow (kinetic sand), and building snowmen. I had a great time surrounded by my closest family and family friends.

As you can probably guess, my auntie J did the decorating with a little input from Mom.

Five...

I'm five!

The posting is a little past due but Mom has had her hands full.

Here is some info from my wellness appointment and what I'm doing these days.

Stats:
Weight: 35 lbs (10%) - not even big enough for a booster seat, I'm that tiny.
Height: 41.75 inches (12%)
BP: 94/54 Pulse: 104

I'm tiny but that's been my norm and I continue on the same growth curve. If you have ever seen my mom then you would understand why we're not worried. At 5'1" she is a giant in her family.

Interest: Art and drawing - my most favorite activity and past time often spending hours on this; my fine motor skills are impressive. Even the NP doing my wellness exam could not believe it. I've won drawing contests already. It really is sometime I excel at. I still enjoy princesses and Barbies, and of course, Frozen, but I also enjoy baking (especially with Mom). Playing Barbies with Nana is great fun and that's about the only time I want to play with them since she makes it so much fun.

Activities: Dance (specifically ballet and tap) and gymnastics. I did do a year of Spanish but we're taking a little break since Mom was feeling too much like a kids shuttle service for all our activities and appointments.

Kindergarten registration is next month and I already know who will likely be my teacher and I adore her. She visits us regularly and she is one of my most favorite people EVER. She's been begging Mom to stop working with me so she has some stuff to teach me but I've been insisting on learning to read and write and despite Mom stalling on it, I am learning and fast.

While Mom says she used to be able to enter me into tantrum contests and win, that seems to be waning. She probably would no longer win. We also discovered my allergy medication was contributing and since changing that, I have a better handle on my tantrums and will even use drawing and coloring as a coping mechanism and outlet.

I did see the allergist last month and I do have a significant allergy to sagebrush which is bad since our backyard is up against a field of it. I will likely develop allergies to more things but for such a young age to be so allergic I will probably follow Mom's footsteps and need shots some day. Not just yet, though. Good thing we know a really good allergist or three!

I still have quite a vast variety of foods I enjoy. Sushi is still the most favorite - specifically salmon. I'll do some tuna, too. Greek yogurt is also a favorite of mine. Lemonade is my favorite "special drink". I no longer say "yemonade". That was a sad day for Mom when I self corrected this.

I do enjoy my time at home just Mommy and me. I don't get that all that often but it's a favorite time for me. I help a lot with the baby and I do enjoy teasing and tormenting my brother but he is also my favorite kid to hang out with, too.

From Mom and Dad:

To the Princess of our hearts - We do love you and the girl you are becoming. She are so sweet and kind and thoughtful and smart. We hope you will always keep your spunk and know how happy we are to be blessed with your spirit in our home.

Oh, Mom took all of us in for our wellness checks together. It was a LONG appointment and I was NOT happy about my kindergarten shots. I survived but there were tears from all of us. I also started antibiotics for a sinus infection. After 6 weeks I finally stopped clearing my throat and coughing so they did the trick.
