Frozen Dress...

Mom made me a "Frozen" dress. I really wanted a dress like Elsa's from Frozen but when she checked online they were really expensive for something not that similar. This is what she came up with and I LOVE it. As a side note - I have blue sparkles all over the house now!

Ice Castle Building at Kindergarten...

The last time Mom volunteered in kindergarten I spent a significant time working at the blocks station. I wanted to construct an ice castle much like Elsa does in Frozen. The teacher often marvels to Mom about how creative and well behaved I am during the 3 hours I spend at kindergarten. I love being at kindergarten. I struggle at my preschool. Only recently do I have a friend who I can pretend with and play with at my level. It is nice.

Pinky Pie...

About a month ago I had a streak of no tantrums for about 3 solid weeks. As a reward Mom said I could go with her to Wal-Mart and pick out a special toy. When we were there it turned out to be a long grocery shopping trip, I was getting hungry, and I had skipped my nap. Then I could not decide on a toy (Rapunzel Legos) or a movie (My Little Pony). I insisted on wanting both. After Mom gave me the choice between the two for about the 20th time, she finally said I no longer had earned a special prize and we would leave without nothing.

I threw a horrible tantrum. Mom called it "glorious". Dad had to carry me kicking and screaming out of the store. I was even throwing my shoes at him. Then it took about 25 minutes to get me loaded into my car seat as I refused to get into the car.

Later that week Mom took me down to the sheriff's office to show me where kids and adults who throw really big tantrums go. (It was actually a lovely place and the clerk even gave me a stuffed dog! Note from Mom - the plan back fired.)

After another month of being tantrum free or stopping myself from escalating to full tantrum, Mom and Dad said I earned a special prize. This time I wanted a trip to Build-a-Bear to get a Pinky Pie pony. We made sure I was full and rested, too, before heading over there. As you can see it was a success!

(P.S. Yes, both sets of photos I chose my clothing. Mom and I do not always agree on my sense of fashion but she is learning to pick her battles.)

From Mother's Day...

I wanted to look extra special for Mom on Mother's Day. I often disagree with her on my chosen attire for the day but today we completely agreed on my clothing for the day. I even let her fix my hair extra special.

Mom took a photo because she said, "You look so beautiful and for once we did not have to battle over clothing choices." (Note from Mom - sometimes clothing choices are as simple as just getting her to wear clothing. Don't even get me started on wearing shoes...)
